Overview
724 Data was overwhelmingly awarded the contract to provide comprehensive IT Services in support of construction projects at 9 education campuses. This 5-year contract provides network management, server support, storage, and workstation support to construction teams across Los Angeles.
Background
Upon taking over support responsibilities, 724 Data reconfigured the domain infrastructure and user accounts.
724 Data addressed security concerns for communicating between sites and upgraded the firewall.
724 Data developed an IP scheme with a logical nomenclature and resolved problematic DHCP addressing.

Helpdesk and End-User Support
724 Data supports 195 devices for approximately 90 users at 9 sites. In addition to supporting the network and infrastructure, 724 Data provides desktop and helpdesk support including printers, peripherals and Microsoft applications. Our technology supports remote control of desktops, which allows 724 Data engineers to resolve problems without walking users through an endless set of instructions.
Customer Satisfaction
724 Data is committed to ensuring the complete satisfaction of all our customers and their end-users. To this end, we have implemented a quality control questionnaire that allows end-users to provide feedback as to the level of their satisfaction. The data from these questionnaires is included in the monthly reports.
Additional Projects
The quality of the support provided has lead to additional projects such as firewall and network infrastructure upgrades and office relocations.
Results
The client has been pleased with the quality of service that 724 Data provides. A staff member stated, "we used to measure support in weeks and months, now we measure in minutes and hours."
One of the sites had initially opted out of centralized support due to its dissatisfaction with the previous support provider. After attending one of the regularly scheduled status meetings and hearing of the quality support 724 Data provides, this last site has now joined the support contract.
